KE1000 is an incredibly strong epoxy putty by GRAFMETAL.
EPOXY PUTTY is designed for sealing, filling cavities and repairing parts made of metal, wood, plastic, glass, stone, etc. It can be used for sealing pipes, joining components or as a construction material.
This offer applies to 1000 g container of the product.
Putty can be used to fill cavities and seal leaks. Be sure to keep the area perfectly dry at the time of gluing.
Directions for use:
1. Clean and dry the surfaces to be joined thoroughly.
2. Wear protective gloves. Prepare a piece of each ingredient, whereby the grey ingredient should be used 2 times as much as the brown ingredient, both by volume and by weight. The ingredients can be measured by making rolls of similar diameter and then taking 2 times longer roll of the grey ingredient. Using more of the brown component will shorten the setting time, but will reduce the mechanical properties.
3. Combine the two components by kneading. Knead until a uniform colour is achieved.
4. Wait for the ingredients to set. Initial setting time is 2 h and full strength time is 4 h (15°C).
Once cured, the putty is machinable and can be sanded, drilled or sawn. Some plastics such as PP or PE may have insufficient compatibility with epoxy putties.
Putty can be successfully used to repair the installation.
The putty can be used for touch-ups, car body repair and similar applications.
