Why is it worth to choose GRAFMETAL glow-in-the-dark paint for clothes and fabrics?
Very fine pigments of strong phosphorescence were used for paint preparation, luminescence of which is visible up to 10 hours in the dark or 2 hours in half light conditions! Majority of cheap paints contains weak pigments, which glow shortly and weakly.
The paint contains a lot of glow pigment (almost 50%) and binder, thanks to which, one can obtain strongly emitting surfaces with just one layer, while many other paints give similar results after deposition of 5 layers. The paint is visible in the dark and in light, it is not semitransparent, like majority of luminescent paints for textiles and clothes.
A gel form allows the paint to be applied with a brush and spatula to self-adhesive stencils. These can be made, for example, from self-adhesive paper using a laser or cutting plotter.
The paint emits light of a green colour after prior irradiation with sunlight or artificial light. It is just necessary to expose the painted object to light for a short time (10 s for a strong light, 10 min for a weak light) and then it is possible to enjoy long lasting light emission.
How to apply gel paint?
1. Apply the paint to the fabric with an adhesive stencil and brush or by screen printing.
2. Cover with baking paper and heat with an iron (do not press too hard) to about 200°C (you can use a lower temperature for a longer time). Alternatively, you can use a heat gun. Select the time and temperature. Caution: too low a temperature or too short a curing time may make the paint layers unstable or may damage in the wash.
3. After cooling, the product is ready for use. Wash after turning inside out.
