GRAFMETAL glow-in-the-dark modelling clay allows the creation of permanent models emitting green light. The glowing effect is visible for up to 12 hours in total darkness after prior exposure. The product is great for children, artists, modellers or anglers. The offer concerns a pack of 50 g of luminescent modelling clay.
Modelling clay is a safe product and does not irritate the skin. It is hardened by baking, e.g. in the oven.
The finished piece simply needs to be exposed using sunlight or artificial light such as a lamp or torch on your phone. Once exposed, the item will give off light. The luminescence is strongest immediately after exposure and can be visible for up to 12 hours. There is no limit to the number of exposure cycles or light emission.
Recommended use:
1. As the modelling clay is light-coloured and partially transparent, it is advisable to wash your hands thoroughly before modelling.
2. In order to start modelling, the mass should be warmed up gently, e.g. by kneading it with your hands or by placing it in a warm place. Without preheating, the modelling clay will be hard and brittle.
3. The moulded parts are hardened by baking. Baking in the oven for 30 minutes at a temperature of approximately 110°C on baking paper is recommended. It is advisable to make a test on a small amount beforehand. If baking takes too long or is carried out at a too high temperature, the mass may darken. However, this should not significantly affect the glowing potential.
A wide variety of techniques can be used to create models.
After curing, the modelling clay can be pale green with a tint of yellow.
Luminescent modelling clay allows you to create many interesting projects.
The modelling clay does not contain harmful substances and does not irritate the skin. However, the product is not intended for consumption. The product is not for children under 8 years of age. Baking in the oven requires knowledge of its use and should not be done without adult supervision.
