Glow in the dark dust has a white-green colour in ligh and after irradiation it emits green light visible in the dark.
Irradiation can be done with sunlight, fluorescent light tube, UV lamp or a mobile phone flashlight.

Glow can be visible up to 2 hours after irradiation in half-light conditions and up to 10 hours in total darkness. The dust emits an intensive light and it can be charged with light unlimited amount of times.
The dust is bright and it has a grain of a size of approximately 10 μm, which opens many applications to it, including deposition on very fine details.
Single dust grains are barely visible in light and will reveal itself in darkness after prior exposure to light.
This is why it makes it possible to discover theft, it is only needed to spill a small amount of dust over an object being a "bait" to mark it.

Hand from the pictures was not spilled with the dust after taking the first picture. Dust grains are small enough to make them not noticeable in light, but after irradiation they are well visible in darkness.

The dust due to a fine grain and an impressive phosphorescence may be used for preparation of glow in the dark paints and nail polishes.
This can be done by mixing the powder with a transparent nail polish.

One needs to just note to prepare a portion for a single use, because some nail polishes in a liquid form may cause a slow degradation of the pigment, because of which they may not be usable after several days (especially if the lacquer contains alcohol). Degradation will not take place after application and drying of the lacquer.
