Metal etching - possibility of gaining big results with little laser work
In this project a big piece of mirror finished stainless steel sheet was used, which was also coated with a protective foil. Laser was used to cut contour lines in the foil, which took just 28 s. The foil was later removed from the contours and metal etching paste was applied to the exposed spots. After 2 hours the paste was rinsed off and the rest of the foil was removed.
